In this “train the trainer” type session, participants will learn how consistent, clear, and truthful messaging about organic can pay off for everyone in the industry. Beginning with effective employee education programs, speakers will show how increased training can combat at the store level the consumer perception of eroding standards and educate the public on reasons for the price differential between organic and conventional products. Panelists will include an organic farmer, an organic messaging expert, and a research firm to discuss current consumer research on needs and knowledge of organic.
