Organic 101: The Organic Label - Education for retailers

One of the most important ways a retailer can show its commitment to organic and differentiate itself from the competition is to ensure that its staff is well educated about the meaning of organic and organic labels and can communicate key messages to shoppers about the features and benefits of organic products. This session will guide retail staff through the basics of organic, giving them the skills to explain the organic claim, help customers read organic labels and know what makes organic the gold standard among eco-labels. Plus, they will leave equipped with the most important messages to use not just to sell a single organic product, but to promote organic as a brand.
